The Special & Personal Collections section highlights unique and significant archival collections.

Example collections include:

• Tan Sri Musa Mohamad Collection – Personal papers, photographs, speeches, publications, awards, and official documents relating to the former Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia.
• USM Special Collections – Rare books, university publications, historical photographs, manuscripts, institutional records, and materials documenting the history and development of Universiti Sains Malaysia.
• University Heritage Collection – Selected records preserving the university's cultural and institutional heritage.

These collections are specially curated due to their historical, research, or cultural significance.

The Archive page presents all archival materials available within the repository.

Users can:

• Browse newly added records.
• Explore featured collections.
• View highlighted historical materials.
• Discover digitised archives from different categories.

This section serves as the main gateway to the archive's complete digital holdings.

Some archival materials may have restricted access or require physical consultation.

To request access:

1. Open the archival record.
2. Click the Reservation button.
3. Complete the reservation form.
4. Submit your request.
5. Archive staff will review your request and contact you via email regarding the appointment and access arrangements.

Reservations are intended for users who wish to consult original archival materials in person at the archive repository.
